A survey conducted by the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC) showed that 56 per cent of Egyptians are aware about the climate change crisis, while 43.5 per cent are unaware about this issue.
The sample of the poll included people aged more than 18 years old to check whether they are aware about the issue of climate change and its negative impacts on Egypt and other countries worldwide.
43.1 per cent of citizens of the sample think the climate change has negative impacts on Egypt, while 60.5 per cent of citizens said this year’s winter will be colder than the last year.
