33 container, cargo ships handled at Damietta Port

DAMIETTA, Egypt – As many as 33 container ships and cargo vessels were handled at Damietta Port in the past 24 hours.

In a statement released on Thursday, the Damietta Port Authority said the total volume of exported goods from the port reached 37,016 tonnes.

Meanwhile, the total volume of imported goods into the port recorded 410,036 tonnes, according to the statement.

Wheat reserves at private sector warehouses registered 287,298 tonnes.
