The 31st Session of the Joint Jordanian-Egyptian Higher Committee meetings kicked off here on Monday under the co-chairmanship of Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and his Jordanian counterpart Bishr el-Khasawneh at the Jordanian cabinet premises.
During the 31session, the two parties are expected to sign a raft of documents and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) to enhance co-operation at various levels, including vocational training, planning, media, insurance, and social affairs.
The high-level delegation accompanying the premier includes Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek el-Molla, Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar and Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala el-saed.
Minister of International Co-operation Rania al-Mashat, Transport Minister Kamel El Wazir, Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir, as well Minister of Labour Hassan Shehata are among Egypt’s high-level delegation to the higher committee meetings.
