The second annual Africa Solar Energy Forum (ASEF) kicked off on Tuesday, under the sponsorship of the Electricity and Renewable Energy Ministry.
The two-day forum is organised by the Africa Renewable Energy Initiative (AREI).
Cairo hosts the forum as part of Egypt’s support of the AREI that was officially launched at COP21 in Paris in 2015.
The forum is attended by high-level delegations and ministers from Africa and Europe.
