LUXOR – As many as 23 hot air balloons decorated the skies of Luxor on Thursday, carrying 440 tourists of different nationalities, said representative of the Egyptian Federation of Hot Air Ballooning Companies in Luxor Ahmed Aboud.
Aboud added that Luxor is ranked third worldwide in organizing hot air balloon trips that fly over the city’s archaeological sites, the Nile River and agricultural lands.
He asserted all hot air balloon operators are committed to abiding by the instructions of civil aviation authorities for safe and secure rides.
