As many as 115,000 Thanaweya Amma (high school) students registered online for skills exams needed for admission in certain faculties, said El-Sayed Atta, head of the education sector at the Egyptian Higher Education Ministry, on Friday.

As many as 115,000 Thanaweya Amma (high school) students registered online for skills exams needed for admission in certain faculties.

Students applied for the skills exams through www.tansik.egypt.gov.eg website, he said.

Application will run till August 19, he added according to MENA.

Skills exams are essential to join certain faculties, including Faculty of Mass Communications, Applied Arts, Fine Arts, Specific Education as well as Music and Art Education.
