Two people were killed and nine others wounded when an eight-storey building collapsed in Rashid (Rosetta) city, Beheira governorate, in the northern part of Egypt in the Nile Delta.
Civil protection forces rushed to the scene and security forces sealed off the area around the collapsed building.
The injured are being hospitalized and the bodies of the victims, a 10-month-old toddler and a man in his late 30s, have been moved to Rosetta General Hospital.
The Public Prosecution has already started a probe into the incident.
