CAIRO – Egyptian Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi said more than 1000 youths participate in a forum and races held in Galala area in northeastern Egypt.
This falls within the framework of celebrations of the June 30 revolution, he said in remarks to a TV programme on Sada El Balad satellite channel.
The minister added that all youth and sports centers nationwide opened with cultural programmess and sports activities organised.
As for Egypt’s participation in the 2022 Mediterranean Games, he expressed pride for the achievements realized by Egyptian athletes.
He said Egypt snatched gold medals, expecting to cop more medals in the coming period at the championship which is still held in Algerian.
He noted that the ministry is working hard to gear up for the 2022 Handball Championship, due to be held in Egypt in July.
