Egyptian Health and Population Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar announced that the “100 Healthy Days” presidential initiative had provided 35.581 million healthcare services across the country from June 25 until September 28.
In a statement on Friday, health ministry spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said the campaign included 1.53 million services for supporting women’s health.
Hearing services have been presented for 473,496 children as part of a presidential initiative for early detection and treatment of hearing loss and impairment for newborns.
Under the initiative, 3.156 million services were offered within the framework for the early detection of kidney and chronic diseases.
About 1.073 million decisions for treatment at state expense were issued, he said, noting that the campaign also offered 226,655 psychological health services.
