Spokesman for the US Department of State Samuel Werberg lauded the good organisation of COP 27 in Sharm el-Sheikh.
In statements to MENA on the sidelines of COP 27 yesterday, Werberg said the US has priorities including applying commitments, finance, projects in addition to adaptation that should be implemented in all countries of the world.
He called for benefiting from Egyptian experience in wind and solar energies, adding that the US and other countries should study such successful experiments.
“There are several achievements and projects of alternative energy in the western countries. Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE have also made big achievements in renewable energies,” he said.
