The Egyptian Planning Minister Hala El Saeed on Monday said the total investments in the electricity sector in the fiscal year of 2022/23 will reach LE29.3 billion.
Saeed’s remarks came on the occasion of the Planning Ministry’s announcement of a report about goals and investments in the electricity and renewable energy sector for FY2022/23.
The report pointed to strategic projects to expand the national electricity network and secure electricity supply for socio-economic projects worth LE6.5 billion in addition to continuing the Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority’s projects worth LE206 million.
