Trans Misr for Transport and Trade (TMT) has inaugurated the first phase of its new customs station for empty containers, Hossni El-Antably, in Alexandria. With an investment of EGP 100 million, the station spans 7,500 square meters and accommodates 1,500 containers, enhancing the company’s capabilities in container storage and logistics.
The project will expand further in 2025, with a second phase adding 3,000 square meters and requiring an additional EGP 50 million investment. The expanded facility will support consolidation services (LCL and FCL), non-duty-paid goods storage, container repair, and cleaning, positioning it as an integrated customs area.
TMT leverages its 75-unit fleet of modern vehicles, equipped with GPS and Twist Lock systems, to ensure secure and efficient transport. Backed by a network of branches across Egyptian ports and airports, the company is ISO-certified and affiliated with international bodies, including FIATA, IATA, and EIFFA.
Recently recognized as the Best Agent in Africa and the Middle East by the PANGEA Logistics Network, TMT continues to expand its leadership in Egypt’s logistics sector.
