Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) Dr Ali el-Ghamrawy met with the Ambassador of Egypt in the Philippines, Nader Zaki, to discuss joint efforts between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and EDA to boost bilateral ties with the Philippines in the field of drug industries.
Both sides discussed joint visions of ways to bolster co-operation and the possibility of exchanging experiences in the field of drug registration, strengthening the drug’s safety system, as well as ways to support the Egyptian drug’s access to the Philippine market.
El-Ghamrawy looked forward to continuing joint work with the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in supporting the efforts of the export file of foreign countries and lauded its efforts in the export file to African countries, especially Zimbabwe.
Zaki, for his part, stressed the importance of partnership between all bodies concerned to support Egypt’s role in the international arena and to enhance the position of Egyptian drug industries in the global markets.
This is part of the EDA’s ongoing strive to strengthen co-operation with all countries and support efforts to achieve the access of Egyptian drugs to international markets.
