South Sudan will import poultry products from Egypt after getting the approval of its First Vice President Riek Machar, Agriculture Minister el Sayyed el Qusair said.
Speaking about achievements made by Egypt in the field of poultry on Tuesday, Qusair said the approval came as part of directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to open new markets for the Egyptian products abroad.
He pointed out that 14 Egyptian poultry facilities have been accredited by the World Organization for Animal Health as bird flu-free, adding that another 16 facilities will be accredited soon.
