SHANGHAI/CAIRO – A delegation from the Suez Canal Economic Zone promoted a set of incentives and investment opportunities, which are offered by the SCZone to investors, thanks to the excellent strategic and geographical location of its ports and efforts aimed at their integration with industrial zones.
The delegation members were participating in CHINT International Marketing Forum (CIMF) in Shanghai, China.
In a statement, the Zone said that CHINT provides a variety of smart energy solutions for public institutions, industry and end users.
On the sidelines of the Forum, SCZone’s Vice Chairman for Investment and Promotion Affairs Ibrahim Abdel-Khalek met with leaders of CHINT Group and discussed the possibility of boosting joint cooperation in green energy.
President of CHINT Global Lily Zhang was present at the meeting and highlighted the future expansion plans of the company in the energy domains.
Zhang said CHINT has a branch in Egypt at total investments of 25 million dollars and net annual sales estimated at 50 million dollars.
The Zone invited CHINT to expand its investments in Egypt to serve the sector of new, renewable and green energy, based on its high-quality energy solutions.
