Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) Holding, a leading community real estate developer in Egypt with a land portfolio of 50 million square metres, launched “Noor City” – the group’s latest city – on an area of 5,000 acres before the New Administrative Capital. Investments in the city amount to LE0.5 trillion.
With a strategic location and smart, modern planning, Noor City is considered the first smart, green, sustainable city, as it was designed by four largest, specialised international companies; namely SWA, SASAKI, BCG, and Perkins Eastman, to draw a picture of a city where the elements of technology and artificial intelligence are mixed together in a line being harmonious with architectural visions, green spaces, water bodies and lakes, to create a more residential, comfortable and safe life.
Being implemented in partnership with the New Urban Communities Authority, the city will add to the real estate market during the coming fifteen years more than 140,000 housing units of various sizes, different styles and prices to suit the financial capabilities of large segments of society.
Over the past few days, TMG opened the door for reservations on the units of the first phase of the city, with areas starting from 68 square metres for apartments and 195 square metres for villas, with suitable installments and payment periods, the longest in the Egyptian market which extend for 15 years.
The first phase of the city saw intensive response from citizens, thanks to the advantages the company offers coinciding with the launch.
Noor at heart of future urbanisation movement
The “Noor City” enjoys not only a direct view over the New Administrative Capital, where the headquarters of the presidency, government, ministries, parliaments and banks, but it also has a 2.7 km frontage directly over the Suez Road, close to major traffic axes such as Regional Ring Road. It is also has links with Suez Canal development axes, making it the beating heart of the East Cairo Development Axis.
Smart, Safe City
All areas in Noor are interconnected with an extended network of advanced “Fiber Optics” to be ready to receive the services of 5G technologies, and to provide Wi-Fi services at the highest speed in all public areas.
The city will be managed through a main control “Data Centre” and be equipped with CCTV surveillance cameras connected to the main control rooms.
Such rooms allow immediate intervention and rapid response to reports and rely on “Facial Recognition” for smart tracking of suspects.
“Noor” follows all sustainability standards
The “Noor City” follows the elements of sustainability and preservation of the environment through an integrated system for treating sewage and reusing it to irrigate green areas, as well as relying on solar energy to provide electricity.
It also follows a system for collecting garbage in a way that preserves the general shape of the city.
Noor offers different styles, spaces for residing
The residential areas in the “Noor City” are designed in a way that takes into account the smart exploitation of interior spaces, and ensures that all spaces enjoy the greatest amount of sun, air and stunning views of the green areas.
Noor provides central services, sports activities, educational area
TMG has allocated nearly 600 feddans for the establishment of commercial, marketing, educational, sports and medical centres. These services were placed on the borders of the city to ensure greater privacy for residents within the city. The city also includes major services such as a fire station, police station, civil registry and post offices, Notary Public and Tax offices.
