“Hosting Tough Mudder in O West comes in line with Orascom Development’s strategy to support sports tourism in Egypt and encouraging amateur athletes of all ages in a fun and exciting atmosphere. It also reinforces our unrelenting vision in creating fully-integrated towns across the countries in which we operate. O West is no exception, the residential town will bring the exceptional experience of living in all aspects; sports, tourism, culture, education and health”. Said Omar el-Hamamsy, Group CEO of Orascom Development Holding.

“O West possesses a massive landscape, solid infrastructure, and accessible location qualifying Tough Mudder to stand out immensely. O West hosted the Rally Championship last month and witnessed great success as hundreds of participants took part.” added el-Hamamsy.

Ayman Hakky, Founder & CEO of “The TriFactory”, said: “We are proud to enter into this agreement with O West, which will see another one of our key event offerings organised in partnership with Orascom Development, this time at their new and exciting destination in 6th of October.”
