The ambitious and innovative vision and meeting the real needs of customers as well as providing all means of happiness, comfort and luxury in projects was the only concept that the Akam Developments real estate company has adopted since its launch in the Egyptian market. Therefore, the company was able in less than 4 years to be one of the leading companies in achieving the concept of happiness and making it realistic lifestyle.

Accordingly, the company decided, since the launch of “Scenario Project” – its  first project in the New Administrative Capital – to implement this vision, especially after many years of research and studying of Egyptian families and their basic needs.

As the idea was succeeded and the project has achieved a great turnout from customers, the concept was extended to its second project, Scene 7, which also achieved great success and demand from customers.  The first and second phases of the project have been sold in full and that the third phase is 55% sales complete, two months before its launch last July.

Akam concept of happiness and quality of life was not restricted to the projects only, but also extended to include all employees of the company to deserve the title of “Ambassadors of Happiness” in the Egyptian real estate market.

Accordingly, the company has launched its largest campaign to thank and appreciate its employees, who were able to achieve highest goals for the company during the past two years, despite the repercussions of the corona-virus pandemic.

Commenting on such a campaign, the Managing Director of Akam Developments Company, Mr. Idris Mohamed, said that providing happiness to Akam clients was the goal of every individual working in the company. Therefore, Akam management was keen to convey the feeling of happiness to its employees and convince them of the idea at the beginning of the establishment of the company. By virtue of the idea, 70% of its founding employees are still working in the company till present.

What are the methods that the company depends on?

Real estate development companies must search to solve the problems related to the client and his daily life. From this scope, “we designed a mobile application to book services – including cinemas and foods – inside the compound.

What are the projects that the company will engage in the cityscape exhibition and the sales target of participating in the exhibition?

Since the launch of the third phase of the “Scene 7” project at the end of last July, with a sales target of LE890 million, the company has succeeded in achieving LE460 million in less than two months only. This ratio is expected to reach 85% of the sales target during the Cityscape exhibition, and that we will participate in the exhibition by offering a number of units still remained from the Scenario project’s phases and “Scene 7” project’s third phase.

What is the future plan of the company and the projects that the company will offer to the market during the coming period?

We are studying two projects in the New Administrative Capital, one of which is residential and the other is commercial on an area of 20,000 square metres.  Two coastal projects in the city of El Alamein are being probed to be implemented on an area of 60 and 100 acres respectively.

What is the construction percentage that has been achieved inside the company’s projects… and what is the percentage of investment return in the company’s projects since its launch until present?

The construction percentage of the Scenario project exceeded 70% and the delivery of the first phase of the project – amounting to 350 units – will be by the end of this year. The entire project will be delivered in full by mid-2023.

Meanwhile the construction percentage of the “Scene 7” project exceeded 40%.
