Khaled Abdel Rahman, the CEO of “AL Etegah Al Awal”, said that there is governmental interest towards the exhibition, which is planned to be a distinguished real estate event to be held in the Emirate of Dubai. This exhibition focuses on promoting Egyptian national projects and supporting the plans of developers participating in the exhibition; to reach Egyptian and Gulf customers working in Dubai.
He pointed out that since the announcement of organising the exhibition, more than 20 real estate developers have joined the exhibition with various projects. It is expected that more companies will join it before its holding, according to the exhibition’s distinguished elements and various services introduced to the participants and for the targeted customers of the exhibition.
He stated that exporting Egyptian real estate requires co-operation between the public and private sectors to market Egypt as a destination for clients looking for real estate with international competitive specifications. In addition to implementing a new generation of smart cities that compete with global ones and urban communities, providing foreign clients attractive incentives.
Mr Khaled pointed out that the state has taken significant and solid steps in the real estate export file; by participating in the “Mipim” real estate exhibition in France’s and Egypt’s recent participation in the “Expo Dubai 2020” exhibition. It witnessed more than 150,000 visitors during the first month of the exhibition’s launching. Adding that Egyptians working abroad reached 14 million citizens according to official statistics in 2019, which reflected the available opportunity to the state, private sector and targeted customers.
Moustafa Abdel-Ghani, the Marketing Director of “Al -Etegah Al-Awal”, announced that the launch of the “Egypt 2030” exhibition is compatible with Egypt’s vision 2030. It is based on comprehensive urban expansion, the development of the new urban communities, and introducing Egypt’s development projects to the world, pointing out that this extensive development presents various investment opportunities for all companies.
Mr Moustafa added that Egypt’s current development encourages many Egyptians living abroad to return and buy a property and settle there. Additionally, this encourages many Gulf clients to come to Egypt, especially with the depth of the historical relations that let him feel that he has not left his country.
