AMMAN – Director General of Jordan’s National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) Amjad Rawashdeh said on Saturday that the electricity interconnection project between Jordan, Egypt and Iraq is a model to be followed by Arab countries.
In press statements to Jordan’s news agency Petra on Saturday, Rawashdeh said the project runs as scheduled and is expected to achieve a quantum leap in the field of electricity generation.
He stressed that the electricity interconnection project is of great importance to enhancing power system stability in the three countries.
