Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla on Tuesday discussed with a delegation of Saudi company ArcelorMittal Jubail means of boosting co-operation in the field of oil and gas pipeline manufacturing.
Egypt’s investment climate encourages international companies to expand activities in Egypt, Molla said in statements, noting that the success story of Egypt’s petroleum industry in the region represents diversity in potential and expertise that would ensure facilitating the operations of foreign companies.
Meanwhile, the delegation of the leading Saudi company reviewed an ambitious programme meant to promote the value added of the company operations in Egypt through utilising the geographic proximity between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The company has won that lasted tender by Petrobel company, the delegations said, adding that company has supplied some 47,000 tonnes of pipelines since 2018.
