CAIRO – Egypt’s International Cooperation Minister Rania el Mashat held meetings with officials of Arab financial institutions to discuss ways of enhancing joint cooperation.
The meetings were held on the sidelines of her participation in the activities of the annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) in Saudi Arabia.
Mashat also met with CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan Abdulrahman al Marshad, during which they underlined the strength of ties binding Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Mashat extended thanks to al Marshad for the SFD’s constant support to the development projects in Egypt, especially in the Sinai Peninsula.
Meanwhile, Mashat met with the director of the future evaluation department at the IsDB.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of coordinating cooperation between the follow up and evaluation sector at the IsDB and the International Cooperation Ministry.
Mashat affirmed that coordination will be maintained with the various development partners through the new electronic system to ensure the efficient implementation of ongoing projects between the two countries.
