CAIRO – Egypt’s Ambassador to Japan Oka Hiroshi affirmed the crucial role played by the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), given its strategic location for international maritime transport that connects Asia with Africa and the Mediterranean.
The SCZONE also has integrated industrial zones and six ports, added the ambassador as he was received by SCZONE Chairman Walid Gamal el-Din on Sunday.
The meeting tackled ongoing preparations for the promotional tour in Japan for the SCZONE soon to promote for the available investment opportunities, the SCZONE said in a statement.
The Japanese ambassador, meanwhile, voiced delight for such promotional tour, which will be held by the SCZONE chairman.
