AMMAN – Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Youssef Shamali along with his Egyptian and UAE counterparts, Nevine Gamea and Sultan al-Jaber, respectively, discussed, via video conference, means to activate integrated industry among the three countries, Petra reported.
The ministers also discussed a number of issues related to partnership and its implementation mechanisms in light of the agreement reached between the three countries to expedite procedures based on priorities included in the partnership.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, the governance procedures for this partnership and its mechanisms were discussed, and the tasks of the Higher Committee and the Executive Committee were agreed upon.
The ministers affirmed their keenness to speed up procedures for implementing the partnership in a way that serves the interests of the three brotherly countries and contributes to strengthening economic cooperation among them.
