Haier Group announced that the first and main phase of the Haier Environmentally Friendly Complex in the Tenth of Ramadan City has been completed in Al-Sharqia Governorate of Egypt, which will serve European, Central and East Africa markets.
This will be the first environmentally friendly industrial complex for Haier in the Middle East and Africa, with a total area of 200,000 square meters. The foundation stone laying ceremony for the Haier Egypt Environmental Friendly Complex took place back in March 2023, and the complex is expected to be delivered by the end of December of this year, with the first phase to start operating in the first quarter of 2024, with the main production line for the first phase to be focused on air conditioners, washing machines, and televisions.
