The German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce hosted on Sunday, November 20, 2022, its AHK exclusive event in partnership with the Facility Investing for Employment dedicated to Women in Business.
The event took place in Steigenberger Hotel under the title: “The Facility Investing for Employment announces the launch of its Thematic Women in Business (WiB) Call for Proposals“.
Investing for Employment is part of Invest for Jobs – Special Initiative on Training and Job Creation which funds and supports medium-sized businesses. However, this event was intended to support women’s economic inclusion in Egypt and foster women activities in the business world.
The event was to discuss the different types of investment projects the Women in Business (Wib) call for proposals will seek. The application process is open to public institutions for co-financing grants worth up to 10 million Euros per project.
Women who attended discussed the challenges they face and how support should be provided to them. Each told us about her project and its potential for job creation.
