SHARM EL SHEIKH – Deputy Executive President of General Authority for Investment and Free zones (GAFI) Yasser Abbas said Egypt has all potentials to lure investment in the tourism sector.
Abbas was delivering an address on behalf of GAFI’s executive president during the first Africa Tourism Forum in Sharm El Sheikh city on Monday.
He added that the authority activated the sector’s incentives stipulated in the investment law including incentives of the tourism sector.
GAFI supported a number of partnerships between the public and private sectors in the tourism sector, with special focus on environment tourism, Abbas said.
He added the forum will mainly contribute to shaping the future of investment and tourism in Egypt as it is supporting partnership among African countries.
The Egyptian government is backing African countries to promote this vital sector, according to him.
