Egyptian Finance Minister Mohamed Maeet said the ministry is keen on stabilising taxes policies despite the international economic challenges that coincide with the Covid and Ukrainian crises that pressed on various countries’ budgets including Egypt.
This came in a letter sent to the businessmen community during the minister’s participation in the taxes association conference that was held under the title “investment and international economic consequences and their effect on the vision of the taxes system”.
The minister added that a conference will be held with businessmen in the upcoming period to announce the state’s tax policies document within the upcoming five years.
He noted that the ministry is committed to attracting more local and foreign investment to achieve high growth rates.
