Egypt’s Chairman of the National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) Dr Tareq EL-HOUBY received on Wednesday Anwar Ayed Bin Hasousa, Commercial Attaché of Saudi Arabia Embassy in Cairo.
The meeting discussed ways to strength trade co-operation between Egypt and the Kingdom, especially facilitating the access of food exports between the two countries.
El-HOUBY stressed NFSA’s desire to coordinate and collaborate continuously with Saudi Arabia to facilitate procedures and overcome all obstacles to the continuation of trade exchange and increase export opportunities for food and agricultural products between the two countries.
For his part, Hasousa praised NFSA’s role as a regulatory body in increasing the competitiveness of Egyptian food and agricultural products in foreign markets.
