CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Niveen Gamea on Friday headed for Geneva, Switzerland, to lead Egypt’s delegation to the 12th meeting of the World Trade Organization (WTO), to be held on June 12-15.
The Trade Ministry said in a statement that Gamea and the delegation members will take part in several events and ministerial meetings that would be held on the sidelines of the conference.
The activities will include the meetings of Arab and African trade ministers to coordinate on issues of common interest.
The minister is also set to have a number of meetings to discuss the issues of economic and trade cooperation and means to strengthen bilateral trade ties, the statement added.
