The Chair of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, Eng. Mohamed Zaki el-Sewedy, praised President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s decision and his sustained support for the development of Egypt’s industrial sector.
He affirmed that this continuous backing reflects a clear national vision aimed at deepening and localising industrial technologies, regardless of the challenges.
El-Sewedy explained that the notable progress achieved in recent years—culminating in Egypt’s participation in the “EDEX 2025” defence industries exhibition—serves as strong evidence of the fruitful co-operation between Egyptian manufacturers and the Armed Forces.
He added that the successful production of numerous systems and products represents not only a major step forward for this vital sector, but also a significant milestone in the evolution of Egyptian industry.
The Federation Chair stressed that this co-operation embodies genuine industrial advancement, reinforces confidence in locally manufactured products, and strengthens Egypt’s ability to compete regionally and internationally, contributing to the consolidation of its position as an emerging industrial power.
