Saudi Minister of Trade Maged El Qasabi on Tuesday said that his current visit to Egypt is aimed at boosting joint investment and trade co-operation.
At a meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, he added that his accompanying delegation during the visit includes 35 senior Saudi businessmen to increase Saudi investments in Egypt.
He pointed out that Egypt has excellent investment opportunities and that businessmen accompanying him are seeking to expand their investments in Egypt.
The meeting was attended by Egyptian Minister of Planning Hala Saeed and Minister of Trade and Industry Nivin Gamea along with Saudi Ambassador here Usama Al Nuqali.
The Saudi delegation will attend the 17th session of the Egyptian-Saudi trade committee.
The Egyptian PM said that Egypt is working to solve all problems facing investors. He noted that the government has already solved many problems facing Saudi and other businessmen in Egypt.
