CAIRO – Egyptian Trade Minister Nivine Gamea stressed the State’s keenness on maintaining and improving the 2021 positive indices of the industrial and exports sector.
During a plenary session with the heads of exports councils, she reviewed the ministry’s plan for boosting Egyptian exports.
She said Egypt’s exports rose by 20 percent in the first quarter of 2022 in comparison with the same period last year, noting that this proves the resilience of the Egyptian industry and products despite challenges.
She added that Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, during the international press conference that was held last week, stressed the importance of offering more facilities to boost industrial development and exports.
For their part, the heads and representatives for the exports councils hailed the measures that the ministry will adopt to serve the industrial and export community over the coming period.
They also presented a number of proposals for increasing Egyptian exports.
