CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Industry and Trade Nivine Gamea asserted the ministry’s keenness on boosting joint cooperation with the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization (AIDMO).
The move is meant to develop and raise competitiveness edge of different Arab production sectors to benefit Arab consumers and all economies of Arab countries, added Gamea during a meeting with AIDMO Director Adel Saqr Saturday.
The meeting discussed the role the organization plays in enhancing industrial, mining and commercial integration among Arab countries, Gamea pointed out.
The AIDMO is mainly contributing to promoting supply chains to meet needs of the Egyptian industry, according to her.
In turn, Saqr confirmed the Egyptian State plays an important role in achieving economic and trade integration among Arab countries.
The Organization will carry out several projects and launch important initiatives to foster joint Arab action in the fields of specifications and quality, added Saqr.
