CAIRO – Egypt’s Minister of International Cooperation Rania al Mashat asserted Egyptian government’s keenness on the advancement of Egyptian-Hungarian relations, in line with the directives of leaderships of both countries.
Mashat made the remarks during a meeting with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto to discuss prospects of promoting Egyptian-Hungarian relations, boosting investments of the private sector, alongside reviewing the implementation of the joint-agreements and MoUs signed through the Joint Egyptian-Hungarian Committee, which convened earlier in 2023.
The meeting tackled means of upgrading cooperation towards localization of Egypt’s railway industry, in light of great significance state attaches to the development of industry and fostering the exchange of cutting-edge technological know-how with friendly countries.
The two sides, meanwhile, reviewed the updates of Egypt’s accession to the BRICS and the new Development Bank.
