CAIRO – Head of the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) Tamer Essam asserted that Egypt has the necessary and qualified manufacturing capabilities to localize modern industries.
This came during the activities of the third day of the second edition of Africa Health ExCon.
He also stressed the state’s keenness on developing its abilities and potentials.
In the exhibition’s second day, two deals were signed; the first between the authority and Gennecs Pharmaceuticals company while the second between an Egyptian company and an international one.
The agreements aim at localizing modern and innovative pharmaceuticals and strategic vaccines as well as providing Egyptian cadres with the latest global expertise.
This comes within the authority’s keenness to support strong strategic partnerships reflected by localizing important and strategic pharmaceuticals.
