SAINT PETERSBURG – Transport Minister Kamel el Wazir underlined that Egypt has achieved a major breakthrough in developing the infrastructure of various transport sectors with cooperation with major international companies in this field.
In his remarks during the first meeting of BRICS’s ministers of transport in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Wazir illustrated that the transport sector is one of the main axes in “Egypt Vision 2023”, as the sector is the most important element of development to improve the lives of citizens.
He said, according to MENA, that it is a global tourist destination for many tourists around the world and has unlimited development opportunities in the field of tourism.
He also pointed out that Egypt’s joining the BRICS reflected the group’s confidence in the importance of the Egyptian role in international interactions and the strong ties based on partnerships in various fields between Egypt and the BRICS countries.
