The Ministry of Industry announced the results of the 12th exceptional offering of fully serviced industrial land, following the close of applications on November 6.
The Industrial Development Authority (IDA) received 209 investment applications through the Digital Egypt Industrial Platform, resulting in the allocation of 100 land plots for new industrial projects across 16 governorates, with a total area of 185,000 square meters.
The allocated projects span the food, engineering, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile and building materials sectors.
Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel el Wazir said in a statement on Saturday that this exceptional offering was launched to mark the anniversary of the October Victory as part of the ministry’s integrated industrial policy aimed at ensuring a sustainable supply of serviced industrial land for committed investors, enhancing the investment climate and supporting the state’s goals to develop the industrial sector, localize production chains and position Egypt as a regional industrial hub.
