KUWAIT CITY – Egypt ranked second among Arab states in terms of global investment flows into developing countries during 2022, according to the annual report of the Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (Dhaman).
Egypt received $11.4 billion, making up some 21.2% of the total investment flows, Dhaman added in the report released recently.
The Arab countries got nearly 4.2% of the total global investment flows in 2022 and 6% of the total flows into developing countries during the same year, it noted.
Established in 1974 in Kuwait as a pioneering multilateral development organization that provides guarantee services against commercial and political risks, Dhaman is owned by the governments of 21 Arab States and 4 Arab financial institutions.
