CAIRO-Egyptian ُُMinister of Planning and Economic Development Hala el Saeed said Egypt will present a national report about “financing for development”, the first of its kind in the Arab world.
This came during Saeed’s speech to the opening session of the Arab forum for sustainable development, held by Lebanon and the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) on March 29-31.
Saeed said the report is part of a project aimed at studying sources to fund development efforts in Arab countries in order to find a sustainable financing mechanism in the future.
