Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes posted collective losses at the close of Wednesday’s trading amid anticipations about a Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) decision regarding interest rates tomorrow.
The EGX 30 benchmark index decreased by 0.33 percent to reach 17,455.6 points.
The broader EGX 70 EWI of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) dropped by 0.89 percent, closing at 3,505.13 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index was also down 0.86 percent, ending at 5,171.7 points.
