CAIRO – Chairman of the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM) Ibrahim Mekki on Tuesday discussed with Italian company Maire Tecnimont Vice President for North and East Africa Mario Franchin ways of boosting cooperation with global petrochemical companies.
The meeting tackled cooperation between the two sides in projects currently carried out by the ECHEM, including granting production general contractor licenses, within the framework of efforts to develop projects and enhance the production capacities in the petrochemicals sector, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources on Tuesday.
The meeting is deemed a crucial step towards boosting strategic relations between the two mega petrochemical companies.
