CAIRO – Egyptian Finance Minister Mohamed Maait said Friday that E-Systems have mainly contributed to achieving taxation justice and making it easy for financers by unifying, simplifying and automating procedures.
The measure is intended to maximize public revenues and achieve comprehensive and sustainable development, added Maait during talks with a delegation from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development on the sidelines of the Egypt’s Forum for International Cooperation and Developmental Financing and a meeting of the African ministers of finance, economy and environment in the New Administrative Capital (NAC).
Maait said “We are moving on the right track toward digital economy achievement as per the best practices worldwide.”
The Egyptian official extended an invitation to the Organization’s delegation to attend “finance day” on November 9.
The day offers an opportunity for tackling ways of financing green transition and climate summit that is expected to come up with important outcome to push forward global efforts to implement climate pledges on the ground.
