Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Tareq Amer said there are proactive measures to confront any international crises.
He made the remarks on Saturday at the Arab Banking Conference which is organised by the Union of Arab Banks under title “the repercussions of the international crisis and its impact on economic conditions in Arab region.”
He said these measures secured economic protection from fluctuation, noting that Egypt did not feel the fallout of the coronavirus pandemic.
He added that the bank intervened during the coronavirus crisis with the international reserves, noting that CBE was selected among the best 10 central banks in the world.
