CAIRO – The trade balance deficit upped by 18.3 per cent to reach 4.60 billion dollars during July 2024, compared to 3.89 billion dollars during the same month of 2023, said the Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics (CAPMAS) on Tuesday.
In its monthly bulletin, CAPMAS said exports rose by 10.7 per cent to reach 3.54 billion dollars in July 2024 against 3.20 billion dollars in the same month of last year.
Meanwhile, imports increased by 14.9 per cent to reach at 8.14 billion dollars in July 2024 against 7.08 billion dollars in the same month of 2023.
