President Abdel Fattah el Sisi’s directives to make the utmost use of national industrial potential for localising modern technology is in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
This statement by chairman of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) Abdelmonem el-Tarras came during the signing of a cooperation protocol between the AOI and Evergreen Egypt United to build smart garages with the latest global systems.
El-Tarras highlighted the AOI’s advanced industrial capabilities, noting that localising modern technology and training in this field would serve the local market as well as markets in the Arab and African regions.
Smart garages will be fully automated with advanced monitoring and operating systems to guarantee security and free traffic flow, he added.
Cooperation with Evergreen United on smart garages create jobs for young engineers and technicians.
For his part, Evergreen CEO Adel el-Meslmani said the company will use its expertise to build smart garages with state-of-the-art devices, realising the highest level of local manufacture and localisation of technology.
