Head of the EU delegation to Egypt Ambassador Christian Berger said the EU is carrying out several service projects to achieve sustainable development in Egypt.
In statements to reporters on Saturday upon wrapping up a four-day visit to Aswan, Berger termed Egypt’s vision for 2030 as “promising” for achieving the people’s aspirations.
As per cooperation between Egypt and the EU, Berger pointed out that the EU has presented euros 27 million to finance the health sectors in Egypt.
He also asserted the close cooperation between the EU and the National Council For Women (NCW) and the Egyptian Ministry of Culture.
He voiced happiness over participating in the sixth edition of Aswan International Women Film Festival (AIWFF) and holding dialogue with the organizers of the event.
Concerning the latest developments in Ukraine, the EU expected a hike in international prices in the coming phase especially in the sectors of energy, fuel and gas.
