CAIRO – Head of the Arab Council of Businesswomen (ACB) Abeer Essam confirmed the private sector is playing an important role in supporting the State to promote development in Sinai.

Different developmental projects are implemented in Sinai as part of efforts exerted by the political leadership to set the stage for more investments in it, Essam told MENA.

She said President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s speech on the 42nd anniversary of Sinai Liberation, in which he stressed the Egyptian stand that rejects the displacement of the Palestinians into Sinai warmed our hearts and reassured all Egyptians.

As a national private sector, we are reiterating our commitment to our duty toward the state to fulfil the giant national project of President Sisi to develop it, she added.

Essam hailed the state’s unprecedented efforts at the era of President Sisi over the past nine years that set the stage for achieving a genuine development in Sinai through the implementation of necessary infrastructure projects to encourage investments and attract businessmen.
