27 container ships, cargo vessels handled at Damietta port

DAMIETTA, Egypt – As many as 27 container ships and cargo vessels were handled at Damietta Port in the past 24 hours.

In a statement released Friday, the Damietta Port Authority said the total trade volume of exported goods from the port reached 46,454 tons.

Meanwhile, the total trade volume of imported goods into the port recorded 31,174 tons, according to the statement.

Wheat reserves at private sector warehouses registered 119,570 tons.
