Egypt’s Minister of Finance Mohamed Maaet asserted that it is high time to establish a more flexible global economic order to attain green recovery in order to avoid any environmental, economic and health shocks, with special focus on consecutive global crises.
During a meeting with the alliance of foreign ministers for climate action on the sidelines of meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington on Saturday, Maaet said he is looking forward to providing stimulus financing to achieve sustainable development in developing and African countries, led by the Private Sector as the locomotive of economic development.
The move is meant to raise the standard living of citizens and improve services offered to them, in addition to providing more job opportunities, added Maaet.
